All information requested from you is collected by SİMGE solely for the purpose of your rental transaction. No personal data is used for any purpose other than rental.
According to insurance conditions, you must be at least 21 years old to rent an economy-class car. The minimum age for mid-size and upper-class vehicles is 25. For luxury and large vehicles, you must be at least 28 years old.
To rent an economy, mid-size, or upper-class vehicle, you need to have held a valid driving license for at least 2 years. For luxury or large vehicles, the minimum license duration is 3 years.
Any rented vehicle can be used by more than one person. The second or additional driver must be declared before the rental begins and must be added to the rental contract. This ensures that the additional driver is also covered by insurance. Naturally, the additional driver must also meet the same age and license requirements as the main driver.
The minimum rental period is 1 day. Rentals shorter than 1 day are still charged as 1 full day.
The mileage limit included in the rental price is displayed on the vehicle listing screen. If the specified mileage is exceeded, an excess mileage fee of 5 TL per kilometer will be applied.
To complete your rental transaction, you must pay all or part of the rental fee (prepayment amount) via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. If you pay the full rental amount in advance, no payment will be required upon vehicle delivery. In the case of partial prepayment, the remaining balance can be paid when receiving the vehicle. For all payment methods, you must present your credit card and driving license when taking delivery of the vehicle.
A security deposit is required to cover any potential traffic and parking fines, missing fuel, or damages not covered by insurance during the rental period. For this deposit, a pre-authorization (provizyon) is applied to your credit card. Pre-authorization blocks a specific amount on your credit card, reducing your available limit but not appearing as a transaction on your statement. A valid credit card issued in the main driver’s name with at least 6 months validity and sufficient available limit is mandatory. For Turkish customers living in Europe, a credit card may not be required in certain cities. You can contact us for details about these exceptions.
All rental vehicles are covered by rent-a-car insurance. For the insurance to be valid, certain important conditions must be met. Insurance becomes completely invalid in cases involving alcohol or drug use. Similarly, exceeding legal speed limits, using the vehicle by persons not listed in the contract, exceeding load capacity, or driving off-road will void the insurance. For insurance to remain valid, traffic and alcohol reports must be obtained at the time of the accident and submitted to our supplier within 48 hours.
If you have arranged to pick up your vehicle from the airport, you are responsible for providing your flight details to SİMGE. Even if flight information is not available at the time of booking, it must be sent via email at least 24 hours before pick-up. With this information, even if your flight is delayed, we ensure timely reception and vehicle delivery.
The rented vehicle must be picked up from the specified address and returned to the designated address. Address delivery options are available only within the district or neighborhood where the rental was made. Pick-up from one district and delivery to another is not permitted. A maximum waiting time of one hour is allowed during vehicle delivery. Additional waiting may incur extra charges. No refund is issued for early vehicle returns. Late returns will incur additional fees.
It is important to check the fuel level when receiving the vehicle. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level. No refunds are provided for vehicles returned with excess fuel. In case of missing fuel, both the fuel cost and service fee will be charged.
All our vehicles are equipped with HGS or OGS. This allows automatic passage through toll highways. Toll fees are charged upon vehicle return along with a 10 TL service fee. If no tolls were used, no charges will be applied.
We aim to provide you with the exact vehicle you rented from SİMGE. However, due to circumstances beyond our control—such as late return, damages, mechanical issues, or other unavoidable situations—the exact model may not be available. In such cases, we reserve the right to provide a similar or higher-class vehicle.
It is not permitted to take vehicles rented in Turkey outside the country. Insurance is not valid abroad. For vehicles rented outside Turkey, you can contact us via email or phone to learn which countries the vehicle may be used in and under what conditions.
If you cancel your rental on the same day, no cancellation fee will be charged. For cancellations made up to 24 hours before the rental start time, a 40 TL service fee will be retained and can be used as a credit toward your next rental. If less than 24 hours remain before the rental start, one day’s rental fee will be held as credit for your next rental, and the remaining amount will be refunded. Unrefunded service fees will be applied as a discount on your next rental. No deductions beyond these conditions apply.
Rental prices are determined entirely by market competition. Therefore, booking earlier typically results in more favorable rates.
